Hiii – remember me? I’ve been a bit MIA on the blog, sorry about that! This past week was busier than usual and to be honest, I just didn’t force myself to write. By now you guys must know that I prefer to write when I’m in the mood rather than publish a post just to post. Finally, it is almost the end of the week and I have some down time to write a little.
We shot these photos only a few days ago, which is crazy. Most of this week has been pretty chilly and rainy. Yet over the weekend I was wearing these wide legged shorts – one of my favorite purchases this summer. Also, if you’re wondering why my hair looks so warm it’s because the lingering smoke created this orange/pink haze. I am on a mission to get my hair toned cooler though! I can’t entirely blame the lighting, my hair has definitely lost its cool tone.
Anyway, if you’re looking for some cute shorts for either a vacation to warmer climates or want to save them for next summer, these GAP shorts I’m wearing can still be found on sale. The exact color combo may not be available but the same silhouette can be found. Let me just say, they feel like pajama boxers. Y’all know I’m an avid wearer of pajama-like pants out in public.
While today doesn’t feel like it’s still the last day of summer, I guess it still is according to the calendar. I got to thinking about the past few months and thought I would share some highlights. I won’t spam you with photos but you can probably find photos of most of these memories on my Instagram. Goodbye summer 2017!
-Previewing all the summer Molly Moon’s flavors at the HQ
-On that same note, taking a twin photo with my friend Katrina on the Molly Moon’s trike
-Eating my way through Portland with two of my college girlfriends
-Getting the VIP experience at the Tacoma Rainier’s new party deck (I can never fully enjoy myself again at a baseball game unless I get an unlimited food pass)
-Experiencing the Yayoi Kusama exhibit at Seattle Art Museum
-Hiking the wrong trail with Jared (not fun at the time, but now it’s funny to look back on)
-Trying my first SoulCycle class
-Petting all the dogs at Cider Summit…
-Showing my brother (a HS junior this year) the UW campus as a prospective student
-Shopping with my mom (buying alllll the shoes, as usual)
This next season is going to be filled with a lot of exciting blog content and I am really excited to look back on the past year come December or January. Next week I’ll be visiting the Molly Moon’s HQ again to preview their new fall flavors. I will also be going to my first event at the Brook’s Running HQ. More on both of these later, but trust me I am really excited for the upcoming week!
