Who wouldn’t want billion dollar brows? Billion Dollar Brows is a company that has made it their goal to save the world from bad brows with universal products that are simple to use and made from the best materials and ingredients. The best part about these products is that they are affordably priced! I’m reviewing two sets of awesome products today: the 60 Seconds to Beautiful Brows kit and the Best Sellers Kit.
First, to give you a little bit of background: My brows are on the thin side and the hair is relatively light compared my natural hair color so filling them in to define them is a must in my daily morning routine. I’ve tried all forms of brow products – from gels, to powders, to pencils. I don’t consider myself a brow expert by any means, so I still look for products that are essentially foolproof. If you’re rushing off to work in the morning, you know how critical it is to keep your makeup routine to a minimum!
This kit is perfect for someone that wants to go above and beyond just filling in the brows. If you’re a makeup fanatic like me, you’ll have fun with these products. The Universal Brow Pencil is automatic so it doesn’t require a sharpener (score!). It’s the perfect shade for me but if you’ve got super light hair, you’ll have to be extra careful to use a light hand. The pencil is a creamy formula and it’s rather soft so you aren’t going to be drawing it on like you would with a normal pencil. The spoolie on the end is perfect for blending out the product. The Brow Gel helps unruly hairs in place and I like that it doesn’t make your brows crunchy and hard like they’ve been hairsprayed. The Smudge Brush has synthetic hairs that work well with blending cream products. I prefer to use my fingers but the thin tip on the brush would be great for defining and even patting in concealer over larger areas. The Brow Duo Pencil is interesting as I’ve never tried anything like it before. Both sides are really creamy and blendable. I find that the highlighter side does provide a nice lift underneath the brows without being a shimmery mess. The concealer part is something I haven’t used much but I’m planning on trying a bolder eyebrow sometime and using the concealer to clean up the edges. This is a technique used by makeup artists but it’s not something you need to do on a daily basis. I like the concept and am looking forward to playing around with it more – though I will need to find a sharpener for this! Shade wise, it works well on my medium skin. If you’re more tan, I think you’ll get more of a brightening effect that will be beautiful!
This kit is perfect if you’re really trying to cut down on the time it takes for you to get ready in the morning. It took me longer than 60 seconds to fill my brows in with this powder but it’s definitely really quick. I love the dual ended brush as it will be a space saver when I travel soon and the brow powder is also small. The taupe color is really universal but it isn’t as pigmented as the pencil in the other kit, so it took me a bit longer to fill in my brows. It’s cooler than I am used to, though I think it’s still great for brunettes. Again, a spoolie is great to have on hand to comb out the hairs and blend with the powder simultaneously.
I hope my review is helpful and inspires you to get some new goodies for your brows. These are really great products at a great price point and I am looking forward to using these in my daily routine. Let me know if you have questions about any of the products!
