Happy Monday everyone! Did you guys have a good weekend? I had a super productive one! I checked off a bunch of items on my to-do list, finished a lot of errands, and managed to squeeze in a great workout. Jared and I also hung out with one of my best friends, Tim, and we saw Dunkirk and Spiderman. I don’t normally like war movies but Dunkirk was amazing. We saw it in a Dolby theater and the sound quality made a huge difference, I think. The movie score and sound effects are crazy so I basically held my breath the entire movie. Spiderman was only so-so to me mainly because I’m not a big Marvel fan.
Now that we’re all caught up, onto the post :) I’m so excited to share my favorite everyday jewelry with all of you today! I’ve been into jewelry for as long as I remember. I still clearly remember my mom taking me to Claire’s as early as elementary school to pick out jewelry. (Lol, Claire’s.) You may remember me writing that I’ve been working on decluttering my closet this year. As I try to pare down my closet, I also try to get rid of the jewelry that I don’t wear often. I only have so many piercings (two!) and wrists to wear bracelets, so it was time for some stuff to go. Now that I have really cleaned out my collection, I wanted to share the pieces that I reach for almost every single day.
Tiffany & Co. Elsa Peretti Diamonds by the Yard bracelet
For Jared and I’s third year anniversary, he bought me this Tiffany & Co. bracelet and it’s my favorite piece of jewelry I’ve ever owned. We were poor college students then, so getting a diamond bracelet was even more of a big deal at that time in our lives haha. (Fun fact: Diamonds are my birth stone!) I wore this bracelet every single day after that so while Jared was in a different city for college, I had a small reminder of him on my wrist. SO CHEESY I know. But that’s what happens when you’re in a long distance relationship! This is a sentimental piece of jewelry that I will probably wear forever.
Kendra Scott Elisa Gold Pendant
The Elisa pendant comes in a lot of variations – mine is in Rose Quartz. Another gift from Jared, this is a meaningful piece that I wear often. I wear a lot of gold jewelry or gold accented clothes/shoes so I get a lot of wear out of this. The gold is really subtle however, so it basically goes with everything. I’m not knowledgeable about stones but I think rose quartz has to do with unconditional love. So I’ll take it. Love a versatile piece that’s easy to wear with everything and has a cute meaning behind it :)
Camilla Limon Bangles
These personalized bangle bracelets are my latest obsession! Camilla is a young entrepreneur who has been making jewelry for many years now. She’s a popular Etsy shop owner who has been successful by offering a variety of handmade jewelry. There’s literally something for everyone in your life because she makes personalized hand stamped jewelry! These would be an amazing gift for your bridesmaids, family members, friends, etc. She offers a variety of different metals for the material as well.
When Camilla offered to make me some bracelets, I knew that I wanted something related to my blog because I am proud of how hard I’ve been working on it. I didn’t specify which metal I wanted it on but she put my blog name on gold which is exactly what I would have picked! I’m also happy to add more silver into my everyday jewelry to mix it up a bit. Be you, bravely is a saying that I love to remember each day. Then of course the G ♡ J bracelet on rose gold is just perfect – it’s so romantic and dainty. All the mixed metals look amazing together!
If you’re looking for some jewelry for yourself or to gift, I highly recommend Camilla. I’m proud to support another lady boss and I genuinely love her jewelry. (By the way, she even has Harry Potter and Grey’s Anatomy sayings on bracelets so basically you NEED to check out her shop.)
Alex and Ani Cupcake Charm Bangle Bracelet
(Available here) This is a gift I bought myself a few years ago. Rarely do I buy myself jewelry anymore but this was something I had to have as soon as I saw it in store. I love the cupcake charm as a reminder to enjoy the little things in life. I also bought it because of the name of my blog obviously :) Since starting my blog as a hobby a few years ago, it has quickly become a huge part of my life. I love this hobby of mine and every single day I am thankful for the opportunities and friendships that I’m blessed with because of it.
Chloe + Isabel Earrings
I have a lot of earrings I’ve kept because those aren’t really something people like to buy secondhand. I only wear a few pairs of stud earrings on a regular basis though! All my dangly earrings are just sitting in a drawer, untouched. These two pairs of Chloe + Isabel studs are my everyday favorites because they’re simple and understated. I lost some earring backs in college and Chloe + Isabel customer service was so amazing, they mailed me a bunch of new ones! Their customer service is awesome and you get a lifetime warranty for your earrings. Not sponsored and these are not affiliate links, by the way. Both of these are still available here: left / right.
What jewelry do you wear everyday? Or do you skip the jewelry on an everyday basis?
