A few months ago, I shared how I style white denim which you can read here. Now that it’s much cooler and autumn, I’ve been wanting to wear my favorite white denim again but in a way that doesn’t seem out of season. (Side note – Personally, I think you should wear white after Labor Day if you want!)
I still kept much of this look the same from last spring, however I swapped a dainty silver pendant for a chunky gold and royal blue statement necklace and layered on a knitted long cardigan. If it were even colder on this day, I would have added a beanie or one of my favorite wool hats or a big scarf. As usual, I had a lot of unnecessary stuff in tow so I carried one of my Longchamp totes with me. Yes, everyone and their mothers seems to have this tote, but it’s a game changer – especially for traveling. For anyone wondering, my nail polish is ‘Chinchilly’ by essie, the perfect taupe-gray.
To transition white denim into colder weather, I recommend pairing the denim with textured sweaters, tops with leather detail, or plaid blanket scarves – the biggest trend there is this season. Don’t be afraid to wear white even though it might feel too stark in a season where many people are pulling out camel colored pieces and other neutrals. Here are some other favorite looks featuring white denim that I’m loving this season:

I typically have sizing issues with H&M pants but I still recommend taking a peek there in case H&M ever brings back a similar pair of white pants. The gold zippers and ankle length make these an easy favorite. Here are some other options that I love: Topshop via Nordstrom // Distressed pair via Target (under $20!) // Distressed boyfriend via ASOS.
Happy shopping and for my fellow students, I hope you have a nice break from school! I’m so excited to be home with my family, eat, and of course shop tax free. Portland, beware because I’m coming for you.
