During my trip to Boston (iPhone photo diary here) I kept getting asked “Does it really rain that much in Seattle?” to which I answered “Oh, not at all. It’s really not that bad!” This is probably because I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and rain doesn’t phase me at all anymore. Unless it means wet socks. I am not a fan of wearing knee length Hunter rain boots (because they are quite heavy and difficult to walk in – though they are very cute) so when I tried these J.Crew Chelsea Rain Boots, I knew that I would get a lot of use out of them because they’re comfortable and chelsea style boots go with everything. Maybe the leopard print isn’t as neutral as the olive, black, or navy (sold out) options..but I like that these are fairly understated as far as animal print goes and they are different than my other shoes.
