What a time to be alive. You can now order almost anything you want to be delivered to your door (homebodies everywhere rejoice), there’s a taco AND burrito emoji, and turtlenecks are the coolest winter trend. Apparently last year they were already starting to creep back into peoples’ closets because last December I can be seen stealing my mother’s wardrobe for a blog post.
+ Turtleneck – Banana Republic (similar here, here, and here)
+ Wool coat – GAP (similar)
+ Jeans – AE
+ Shoes – Nordstrom (love this wool winter print)
+ Purse c/o DailyLook (black / tan)
I hope you’re not sick of these shoes because I am most definitely not. Ever since I got these and started sharing outfit posts on how to wear Roshe Runs with jeans and other ideas, I have seen a huge spike in search engine traffic. I guess people are really digging normcore and have realized that sometimes it’s an awesome thing to be able to wear comfortable kicks and look like you’re trendy without having to really try. Heels are chic, but heels are a no no for me until at least I finish college and don’t have to walk around in the rain to classes. Fashion blogging while living in Seattle and being a student sure screams practical sometimes.
Wishing you all a good week! I keep getting sick lately and I think a lot of that has to do with being stressed. I’m trying my best to figure out the things in my life that have really been piling up and becoming a weight on my shoulders. Thanksgiving is next week and I have a billion things to do before then, but I am unbelievably excited to go home and be with my family. It’s always too short and unfortunate that dead week and finals are right on the heels of Thanksgiving break – but it’s still a much needed relaxing period. A moment of appreciation for Thanksgiving food. *praying hands emoji*
